BOLD brings the issue of mothers’ voices in childbirth center stage, whether it’s through performances or red tents. We ask BOLD locations to educate their communities about local birth options, evidence-based research and local mother-friendly childbirth providers and provide ways communities can take action on issues that are important to pregnant mothers. Since BOLD does not provide direct services, the resources listed below are from exceptional groups working to make maternity care mother-friendly. We hope that knowledge of maternity care today and its challenges will inspire you to get involved with BOLD in our mission to make maternity care mother-friendly and change the story of pregnant women.
